Welcome to my Site!
Hello, my name is Molly Waite and I'm a senior at Rutland High School. As part of my STEM Capstone class, we must choose one topic, research it, and then present it through a website we created on our own. My topic is the misconceptions of eating disorders in society, as this site is conveniently named. Many people believe an eating disorder is a lifestyle choice, however, I've seen it first hand and know that developing an eating disorder is out of the person's hands. An eating disorder is one of the most severe psychological disorders, but it is not viewed correctly by society therefore people cannot get the help they need. So, my intention is to make my peers, and others, aware of the true seriousness and true causes of an eating disorder.
